The A type is a battery type that can use commercially available battery boxes. The B type is a highly reliable incline-type contact-less switch with a photo interrupter built in to the switch.

The range for the ON state has a wide range of 10°–170°.
High contact stability with minute vibrations.
The use of multiple sphere shaped contact balls helps maintain stabilized contact compared to conventional types, even with slight vibrations.

Prevents the penetration of gas and dust by using a sealed structure.
High contact reliability.
The use of multiple sphere shaped contact balls increases the contact pressure on to the contact terminal. Furthermore, the gravity of the multiple contact balls presses down on the principal contact ball like a wedge, ensuring high contact reliability compared to conventional types.
Same size as N type batteries.
