Compact Type Index Units
A compact index unit is a drive unit that can feed intermittently for a fixed time and a fixed angle. It has a simple structure with an integrated motor and sensors. It uses the internal Geneva method to increase the allocation angle, enabling smooth, high-speed driving. Simple indexing with no extra mechanism and an integrated locking mechanism allows it to be used in space saving situations. It can be easily controlled by the origin sensor of the input shaft. There are two types, a 4-split type that rotates 90 degrees each time and a 6-split type that rotates 60 degrees each time. For a rotary indexing table that took a long time to design, simply preparing a table, index, and index controller can lead to a reduction in design time.
