Applied Robotics' Automatic Tool Changers are configurable to suit many applications. Choose the correct Robot and Tool Adapter for the specific application, then customize the pair with features such as:
Electrical Module - Passes communication and control signals through the tool changer to the end effector.
Hardware Kits - The hardware needed to latch the robot adapter to the robot arm.
Tool Mount Assemblies - Specially designed stand made to hold the unused adapters for a quick and automated tool change.
Coupling Sensors - Sensors made to ensure that the latches are activated.
Tool Present Sensor - Sensors used to ensure that the Tool Adapter is present.
Epsilon Automatic Tool Changer
R3/R5/R6/R8/R10/R12 Robot-Side Adapter
The robot-side adapters are mounted on the end of your 6-axis robot arms. The ISO bolting patterns are used to mate with any brand of the robots.
T3/T6/T10/T12 Tool-Side Adapter
The tool-side adapters are used to mount end-effectors of your 6-axis robots and mate with the robot-side adapters. The Applied Robotics’ cam lock guarantees locking stability and unlike the competitors locking mechanism it never wears out by repeating locking motion. T6 is used for R5 and R6 robot adapters and T10 for R8 and R10 robot adapters.
ER3/ER6/ER10/ER12 Robot-Side Electrical Modules
The robot-side electrical modules are mounted on the side of the robot adapters and used to connect electrical devices on the end effectors. ER3 provides 10-pin connection, ER6 20-pin, and ER10 & ER12 32-pin.
ET3/ET6/ET10/ET12
The tool-side electrical modules are mounted on the side of the tool-side adapters and connect with the robot-side electrical modules.
H3/H6/H10/H12 Hardware Kit
The hardware kits are used to fasten the robot adapters onto the end of your 6-axis robots
TM3/TM6/TM12 Tool Mount
The tool mounts are fixed on the tool adapters and used to place them on the holding area. When the tool changer is used, there are usually more than one end-effector to do multiple jobs by the robot. The end-effector(s) attached to the tool adapters are placed in the holding area by the tool mount.
C3/C6 Couple/De-Couple Sensor
The couple/de-couple sensor senses that the cam lock is activated or de-activated to check the locking status. The Couple/De-Couple sensor is standard in R8, R10, and R12.
TP Tool Present Sensor
The tool present sensor actually confirms that the tool adapter is present being mounted on the robot adapter.
