Prism Holders

The prism holder is an instrument that secures and holds the prism used for optical experiments. There are various products, such as simple fixed types that secure the prism by sliding the prism holder up and down, small types that are used to secure a cube-shaped prism, prisms with no height, and a tilt adjustment function that can rotate the prism and adjust the tilt and swing by two axes, products with attachable types, wide adjustable ranges, types that can adjust two axes of tilt and one axis of rotation, etc. The height of the holder, the size of compatible prisms, the presence or absence of an adjustment axis, etc. differ depending on the product, so it is necessary to check the part number and standard before selecting. Most of the weight is relatively light, about 0.1 kg to 0.6 kg, and aluminum with black anodized surface often used as a material.
