Optical Tables

An anti-vibration table is a table that reduces vibration generated from the floor. Applications include the manufacturing of ultra-high precision equipment, inspection equipment and optical experiments. Anti-vibration methods include a passive type that uses the material properties to absorb the vibration and an active type that uses electric control to apply force in the opposite direction and cancel out the vibration. A passive type consists of a coil, air springs and anti-vibration rubber. An active type detects vibration with a high-sensitivity sensor and corrects the information via an actuator. Types include a desk type, surface plate type, benchtop type and a type that includes a frame. Also, the air spring-type vibration removal stand has a dedicated compressor with excellent noise performance for feeding air. Other types include an assembly type darkroom for the effective utilization of the anti-vibration table, and shelves and tables on which measuring instruments or display devices can be placed.
