Featured Linear Actuators
MISUMI’s actuators make use of components that convert rotary motion into linear motion. In most cases this task is accomplished via a ball screw assembly or belt and pulley assembly. As these assemblies only accomplish the task of linear thrust, linear bearings such as linear guides or bushings, are incorporated into the design to handle any non-axial loads that the payload would impose. Linear Bushings & Linear Guides
A Linear Bushing or Linear Bearing is a bearing designed to provide free motion in one direction. Despite having high accuracy, they are forgiving on misalignment. Linear Guides are mechanical parts that allow for higher precision and load ratings while having smooth movement in the direction of the rail.
These components are commonly used in industries such as Semiconductor, Medical, Life Science, Electric Vehicle Assembly, Machine Tool, and Warehouse Automation.
Linear Bushings
Usually paired with a linear shaft that has complementary tolerances.
Can provide smooth motion and has medium load capacity and accuracy.
